This research is titled The Social Interpretation of Surat Al-Balad and Its Impact on Addressing Poverty answers a question: How does Surat Al-Balad, through its interpretation from a social perspective, provide solutions to the phenomenon of poverty prevalence? The research has two topics: the first is indicating the research terminology, and the second is dividing Surat Al-Balad into Four Sections; each section contains several verses presenting a method that contributes to addressing poverty. In this research, both descriptive and deductive methodology was used. It concluded with several results, including: proving that Surat Al-Balad provides us with a model that is practically valid to be applied in addressing poverty, proving that extravagance and squandering represent a direct cause of wasting group money, and affect the appearance of poverty. Moreover, The Surah manifests that psychological or soul purification is necessary and that society has the right to have the authority to control and restrict individual behaviors of wasting money. It also indicates how the individual can contribute to addressing poverty and famine by starting to help the needy relatives, then the poorest people.

يجيب هذا البحث وهو بعنوان التفسير الاجتماعي لسورة البلد وأثرها في معالجة الفقر. على سؤال: كيف تقدم سورة البلد عن طريق تفسيرها تفسيراً اجتماعياً حلولاً لظاهرة انتشار الفقر. فجاء البحث على مطلبين الأول في بيان مصطلحات البحث والمطلب الثاني تقسيم سورة البلد إلى أربعة مقاطع تحت كل مقطع مجموعة من الآيات التي تقدم أسلوباً يسهم في معالجة الفقر، واتبعت في البحث المنهج الوصفي والاستنباطي، وخلص إلى نتائج منها: إثبات أن سورة البلد تقدم لنا نموذجاً عملياً صالحاً للتطبيق في معالجة الفقر. وأن الإسراف والتبذير سبب مباشر في ضياع مال الجماعة و يؤثر في ظور الفقر. وتبين السورة ضرورة التزكية النفسية ، وأن للمجتمع الحق في أن تكون له السلطة في مراقبة وتقييد التصرفات الفردية المتلفة للمال، وكيف يبدأ الفرد بالمساهمة بمعالجة الفقر والمجاعة عبر البدأ بمساعدة الأقربين المحتاجين، ثم أشد الناس فقرا.
