This research demonstrates the life of Al- Hafez Al- Qawariri and his knowledge of the Holy Hadith, its sciences, tracing his views regarding the narrators of Hadith, studying those views comparatively and identifying his approach of amendment and modification. This research has relied on the inductive and comparative descriptive approaches. During the process of collecting Al- Qawariri's views, the researcher has considered what the Imams have stated in their books about the narrators because Al- Qawariri's classifications are still missing. The number of the narrators within this research has counted around forty- three. Thirty- four narrators of them have been modified and the remaining nine have been weakened. Al- Qawariri has conveyed what his Sheikhs have said concerning twelve narrators and stated his own views regarding thirty- one of them. It has been apparent along the research and comparison that there were moderate members within the masses of Imams who were occupied with amendment, modification and their views concerning the narrators were identifiable. May Allah Have great Mercy on them.
Abstract in Arabic | الملخص بالعربية
يتناول هذا البحث بالدراسة حياة الحافظ القواريري، ومعرفته بالحديث الشريف وعلومه وجمع أقواله في الرواة ودراستها دراسة مقارنة، وبيان منهجه في الجرح والتعديل. وقد اعتمد البحث على منهجين هما: المنهج الاستقرائي، والمنهج الوصفي المقارن؛ وكان الاعتماد في جمع أقواله رحمه الله تعالى في الرواة على ما رواه الأئمة عنه في كتبهم؛ لأن من صنفاته ما زالت مفقودة. وقد بلغ عدد رواة البحث ثلاثة وأربعين راويا؛ منهم أربعة وثلاثون معدلون، وتسعة مضعفون. ونقل القواريري كلام شيوخه في اثني عشر راويا، وقال في واحد وثلاثين منهم برأيه. وتبين من خلال الدراسة والمقارنة: أنه كان من أئمة الجرح والتعديل المعتدلين، ومن الذين اعتمد الأئمة أقوالهم في الرواة؛ فرحمه الله تعالى رحمة واسعة.
