Abstract English

This research studies the term "metonymy" and its impact on the Qur'anic interpretation of marital relations. The research is divided into three main chapters, where the first explores the definition of metonymy in language and terminology, in addition to the relationship between metonymy and metaphor, and its general purposes in the Qur'an. In the second chapter, the paper illustrates the principles and themes discussed about marital relations in the Qur'an, and discusses the warnings against explicit obscene talk and explicit description of marital relations. Lastly, the third chapter delves into the purposes of metonymy and its effects when referring to marital relations in the Qur'an, whether from the rhetorical, jurisprudential, or educational perspective. The research aims to highlight the importance of metonymy and linguistic cues in the context of marital relations and the extent of their impact on Qur'anic interpretation.

الملخص العربي

هذا البحث يدرس مصطلح الكناية وأثره في التفسير القرآني للعلاقات الزوجية. ينقسم البحث إلى ثلاثة فصول رئيسية، حيث يستعرض الأول تعريف الكناية في اللغة والاصطلاح، بالإضافة إلى العلاقة بين الكناية والمجاز وأغراضها العامة في القرآن الكريم. في الفصل الثاني، يوضح البحث ضوابط وموضوعات الحديث عن العلاقات الزوجية في القرآن، ويناقش التحذير من التصريح الفاحش والتعبير المباشر عن العلاقات الزوجية. وأخيرًا، يتطرق الفصل الثالث لأغراض الكناية وآثارها في ذكر العلاقات الزوجية في القرآن، سواء من الناحية البيانية أو الفقهية أو التربوية. يسعى البحث لإبراز أهمية الكناية والإشارات اللغوية في سياق العلاقات الزوجية ومدى تأثيرها على التفسير القرآني.
